I've found some Chinese Sonic fans use people's artworks privately these days.
A fan fiction has been put on a Sonic discuss board without asking the writer,writing where it's from and who's the writer.The writer is very angry and delete the whole website( where the writer put the fiction)
I've found 's artwork stolened too.
Someone wants to submit her picture to be a background of a webpage of his/her fiction.
I've told him/her not to do this immediately.
The web master hasn't accept this submistion too.
Then a guy said Sash should be glad since this means people like her artworks,also,she did not say using her artwork is prohibited.
I went mad after reading that guy's comment.
Using someone's fan artworks without permission is a selfish and disesteem act. Also, this will increase the chance of stealing artworks.It's ok if you just keep and share them, but posting and putting them without the author's permission,where are they from and who wrote/drew/made them.Someone can steal the art and say he/she is the author,if people believe what he/she says,the real author may be forgotten.If a company ask this fake author to buy the artwork and that faker accepted,the money and copyright will belong to him/her. The real author may even called 'faker',the only way to help the real author is to call the police and go to the law court.
I've heard that someone had stolen an artwork and submited it to Sonic Channel,and this act was discovered.That guy was scolded by many Japanese Sonic fans.
I know that 's artworks had been stolen and had been uploaded to the stealer's DA before.She had reported to DA,and those stolen artworks were removed on that day.
It's not hard to find stolen pictures in Youtube,I've found many of them,some are from ,,etc.
I know there is CC in DA, but I don't know can it also ensure other DA users those aren't live in America,but I still use it.
Stealing artworks and fanartworks is a very serious problem,guys,please,you must have the permission before using them.
